The Board of Directors roles are part of the formal APTR governance structure and are selected through a vote of the membership.
In the fall of each year, APTR seeks members from diverse institutions, programs, and backgrounds to fill upcoming vacancies on the APTR Board of Directors. APTR Board members work together to advance the association and academic
public and population health. Board members serve as a voice for faculty peers from across the country, ensure that APTR is responsive to our diverse membership, work with federal partners and funders, and provide guidance on APTR policies and positions. The APTR Board is composed of 4 officers and 9 directors-at-large.
