APTR Elected Positions

The APTR Board of Directors is part of the formal governance structure of the Association for Prevention Teaching and Research (APTR). Board members are selected through a vote of the membership or, for certain officer roles, by the Board itself.

Each year, APTR seeks nominees from diverse institutions, disciplines, programs, and backgrounds to fill upcoming vacancies. The APTR Board advances the APTR mission and strengthens academic public and population health.

Board members

  • Serve as a voice for faculty peers from across the country
  • Ensure that APTR is responsive to our diverse membership
  • Provide strategic and policy guidance
