Health Literacy Competency-Based Curriculum
The Health Literacy Competency-Based Curriculum for Health Professionals is both a curriculum and a curriculum planning tool for health professions faculty. Faculty can follow the steps to:
- Teach health literacy competencies identified by the Council on Linkages in the Core Competencies for Public Health Professionals.
- Identify health literacy competencies, develop learning objectives, select evaluation procedures, and use recommended teaching tools.
- Create their own health literacy competency-based curriculum.
