Jointly sponsored by the Association for Prevention Teaching and Research (APTR) and the American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM), AJPM Focus will continue the AJPM tradition of publishing high-quality research and scholarship across all aspects of public health and preventive medicine practice, teaching, and research. In addition to research papers, review articles, and editorials, AJPM Focus publishes policy analyses, quality improvement findings, program evaluations, and other types of articles. Recognizing that global prevention teaching, research, and practice must be grounded in a body of evidence that is inclusive of all scholarly methodologies and scientific perspectives, AJPM Focus also welcomes manuscripts reporting on studies utilizing diverse methodologies, including quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methodologies. To inquire about submitting and reviewing papers, or serving on the editorial board of AJPM Focus, contact Yuri Jadotte at AJPM.Focus@stonybrookmedicine.edu. AJPM Focus is helmed by founding Editor-in-Chief Yuri Tertilus Jadotte, MD, PhD, MPH, FACPM, assistant professor and associate director of the Public Health and General Preventive Medicine residency program in the Department of Family, Population, and Preventive Medicine at the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University. |
