APTR and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will continue to accept applications for a faculty member to serve as a Public Health Education Specialist through Friday, December 29th.
A maximum award of $26,000 is available to support the Specialist to serve as a technical expert on health education issues and design a common curriculum for APIH trainees. The Specialist will be expected to:
Review and assess current training offerings and identify gaps.
Develop and employ standard evaluation elements to be incorporated into all APIH fellowship training assessments.
Develop curriculum to prepare trainees for community experiential learning rotations.
