Bringing together individuals and institutions devoted to health promotion and disease prevention to redefine how we educate the health professions workforce.
APTR is invited to appoint residents to serve in the AAMC Organization of Resident Representatives (ORR). Appointed residents are asked to bring the preventive medicine specialty perspective of fellow resident trainees to the deliberations of the ORR. Provide a venue for residents to offer input into the development of AAMC policy
Represent the resident physician perspective in the deliberations of matters before the AAMC
Offer leadership opportunity for residents interested in academic medicine
Extend professional development activities to aspiring academic physicians at national meetings
