The Association for Prevention Teaching and Research (APTR) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announce the availability of funds to develop case studies aimed at enhancing resources for teaching immunization in undergraduate nursing programs.

APTR is providing a grant for the development of educational case studies in five topic areas around immunization. The case studies should be applicable to undergraduate nursing students. The 5 immunization areas identified by the advisory committee for the development of new case studies are:

2. Vaccine Administration
3. Communication
4. Vaccine-Preventable Diseases (VPD)
5. Immunization Strategies
