Bringing together individuals and institutions devoted to health promotion and disease prevention to redefine how we educate the health professions workforce.
APTR and the HHS Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ODPHP) announce the availability of small grants to develop problem-based case studies aimed at deepening health professions students' understanding of the significance of social determinants of health (SDOH) and how to incorporate information and insights about SDOH into their work.
Four awards of up to $6,000 each will be awarded to faculty or faculty teams to develop a case study with a learner assessment and facilitator guide.
