The
session will provide an overview of the Epidemic Intelligence Service and
examples from field investigation. The presentation will discuss an
enterics outbreak investigation of a multidrug-resistant
SalmonellaI 4,[5],12:i:- infections associated with Pork
Consumption in Wisconsin during 2015. Presenters will go over steps
involved in the investigation, including case finding, environmental
investigation, traceback investigation, and laboratory investigation.
