Have you witnessed the potential uses of mapping in public health but are intimidated by the technology or simply too busy to pursue it?
Building on the success of the 2016 annual meeting presentation, and due to popular demand, APTR is offering this hands-on training session for you to learn how and why to incorporate the Community Health Mapping (CHM) workflow into your research and training programs.
Attendees will learn and discuss novel concepts and methodologies for using low cost, open-source, intuitive mapping technology for students, educators and community organizations to better serve vulnerable or underserved populations. This interactive workshop will provide examples of academic health centers and community-based organizations using the CHM workflow to help visualize data and better understand and portray its significance.
