All applicants selected for the 2018 Paul Ambrose Scholars Program must register for the Student Leadership Symposium to confirm their participation in the program. Please contact the program manager, Katy Bidwell should you have any questions.
The symposium provides an interprofessional opportunity for students to learn leadership and organizational skills from expert faculty in the field of prevention and population health. Students leave with a deeper understanding of their role in our complex public health system and the skills necessary to implement their community projects.
Selected scholars are encouraged to work with their academic institutions to help sponsor their registration fee and travel costs. The registration fee includes the following:
1) Room accommodations on Sunday and Monday evening of the Symposium. Scholars will be paired with a same-sex peer at the event hotel.
2) Two days of breakfast and one plated lunch.
