APTR and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are pleased to announce the availability of funds to support one (1) faculty member to serve as a Public Health Education Specialist.
A maximum award of $26,000 is available to support a Public Health Education Specialist to serve as a technical expert on health education issues and design a common curriculum for APIH trainees. The Specialist will be expected to:
Review and assess current training offerings and identify gaps.
Develop and employ standard evaluation elements to be incorporated into all APIH fellowship training assessments.
Develop curriculum to prepare trainees for community experiential learning rotations.
