TO SUBMIT ABSTRACT PRESENTATIONS & FOR MORE INFORMATION
General Information
Abstracts must be submitted according to the instructions that appear in this Call for Abstracts. You do not need to be a member of APTR to submit an abstract and there is no cost for submitting an abstract. However, conference registration and travel costs are the responsibility of abstract presenters, if your abstract is selected.
This call for student submissions is for brief oral Lightning Round presentations. Authors are encouraged to allow their submission to be considered for a poster presentation. All submissions under this option that are not selected for oral presentation will alternatively be considered for a poster presentation.
Presentation Topics
APTR invites abstracts describing programs, courses, initiatives, or evaluation strategies that address the many changes and challenges in health professions education particularly focused on issues of health equity.
Abstracts may be teaching-focused, program-focused, research-focused, clinically-focused, or policy-focused. Projects/initiatives that are in effect should be completed or well underway, and should not be in an early brainstorming or early implementation stage. Literature reviews are also welcome. Presentations may describe local, regional, national, or global programs.
