Objective Reviewers Needed for APTR Training Programs
APTR is looking for faculty willing to serve as Objective Reviewers of applications to APTR training programs through CDC and ODPHP.Faculty objective reviewers must
be APTR members andwill be called upon to review applications for APTR
training and scholarship programs during the year. Faculty reviewers
will be notified via email as soon as they are selected to serve as an
objective reviewer. Your participation in this important activity will ensure that students who are selected for these programs are the very best candidates, equipped to serve federal agencies and make contributions to the field.
APTR will do its best to provide reviewers with as much notice as
possible. Shortly after the deadline for applications, selected
reviewers will receive instructions via email to review and score their
assigned applications online.The reviewerscores will be
due back approximately 1-2 weeks following receipt ofnotification to
review application. Reviewers will be asked to evaluate approximately 4-6 applications, entailing approximately 2 hours of time. The first round of reviews will take place in early October for the CDC-APTR Fellowship Program. We are seeking faculty with knowledge and experience in interprofessional education.
