APTR members and non-members can benefit from a large and ever-growing number of resources available through APTR such as curricula, teaching modules, publications, journal supplements and case studies.


The Prevention and Population Health Teaching Modules are a complete curriculum that features Power Point presentations produced by subject-matter experts, supplemental materials to facilitate small group learning, and a bibliography of key resources.


Educators can access a list of curriculum-building tools such as the Clinical Prevention and Population Health Curriculum Framework, Competencies to Curriculum Tool Kit and Undergraduate Education Frameworks.


APTR is an official clearinghouse of CDC Epidemiology Case Studies and a Case-Based Teaching Series for Teaching Population-Based Prevention (Cpop).  


In collaboration with CDC, APTR immunization initiatives have produced a wide variety of educational materials for teaching immunization practices to health care workers in a variety of disciplines and settings. 


Members can participate in the development of national education resources, such as the forthcoming Healthy People 2020 Curriculum Toolkit.


APTR provides a searchable directory of Graduate Programs in Public Health at colleges and universities in the United States, and a robust community where graduate programs faculty can share resources directly with one another.


Finally, the Prevention Education Resource Center (PERC) is a web-based repository of educational materials related to prevention and population health.
