Eligibility
The Duncan Clark Award and F. Marian Bishop Outstanding Educator of the Year Award require that the nominated individual be a current APTR member.
The Outstanding Educational Program of the Year Award requires that the department or institution of the nominated program be a current Institutional APTR Member.
The Special Recognition Award does not require membership in APTR.
Nomination Procedures
You should include:
- Online awards nomination form.
- Your name, e-mail address, mailing address, and phone number.
- The nominee's name, e-mail address, mailing address, and phone number.
- Letter of support illustrating why the nominated individual and/or program is worthy of an award.
- Nominee's curriculum vitae or resume - if available (not to exceed three pages in length.)
- Nominee's biographical statement - except the Outstanding Educational Program of the Year Award which requires a description of the nominated program.
- Any additional supporting documents. This may include career highlights, university service, honors, and awards, publications, and community service (not to exceed 10 pages in length including appendices).
Selection Process
The winners are selected by the APTR Awards Committee. Winners will be notified by November 15.
