This self-paced, interactive, competency-based online teaching module is designed to demonstrate the importance of interprofessional practice among health professionals to improve and protect population health. The module targets medical, nursing (baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral level), and public health (baccalaureate and master’s level) students, and may also be relevant to other health professionals at various stages of their training. In addition, the module includes pre- and post-assessments, case scenario videos, resources that can be saved to a personal library, and a Certificate of Completion.

Clinical Prevention and Population Health Curriculum Framework >>

This Framework is the first structured and comprehensive curriculum agenda for integrating clinical prevention and population health into the education of students across the health professions disciplines. The Successful Practices Project encouraged the creation and dissemination of institutional case studies that support the Healthy People 2020 educational objectives as defined in the Education for Health framework.The case studies describe the development of successful prevention, population health, and public health programs in graduate health professions education programs andat 2-year and 4-year undergraduate institutions.

This instrument is designed with an emphasis on prevention and will assist institutions in assessing where they are in the development of Interprofessional Education on their respective campuses.
