<description><![CDATA[<div>The APTR anti-racism toolkit is designed to assist health professional faculty address and seek to reduce the effects of racism in our society through their professional work: as teachers, as clinical and public health practitioners, as researchers, as members of a university community, and as members of a society that is still deeply affected by and afflicted by racism.&nbsp;The toolkit is structured as a internet-based tool, with resources available in a variety of domains. <title>Tools on Cultural Competency and Health Literacy</title>

  the relationship between culture and communication is essential to meeting
  the needs of diverse populations and improving health care and results. With
  proper training, teaching materials, and reinforcement, health organizations
  can address the cultural and language differences between the people who

<description><![CDATA[<p>CDC’s <a href="http://www.cdc.gov/publichealth101/index.html">Public
Health 101 Series</a> is now available in various formats including
E-Learning Courses and Quick Learn Lessons.</p><p> The Public Health 101 Series
is a set of courses that provides an introduction to public health and covers
the sciences essential to public health practice. The course topics include
epidemiology, public health surveillance, public health laboratories, public
health informatics, and prevention effectiveness. The courses are designed for:</p>

<ul><li>Public health professionals who have not
had formal training in a particular core area or who would like a refresher</li><li>Persons new to public health</li><li>Public health educators and instructors&nbsp;</li><li>Persons interested in pursuing public health careers</li></ul><p>

and access multiple educational modules along with other materials housed
online. MARTi training includes: Vaccine
Administration, Vaccines for Specific Diseases, Patient Education, Record
Keeping, Vaccine Safety, Immunization Schedules, and Storage and Handling.&nbsp;</p><p>MARTi was developed and is funded through a cooperative
agreement between the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the

Guide website to help public health practitioners apply evidence-based
intervention strategies. The Toolbox contains more than 20 tools for putting
the recommendations found in The Community Guide into practice.</span></p><p></p><p>The Guide to Community Preventive Services is a free resource to help you choose programs and policies to improve health and prevent disease in your community. <description><![CDATA[<P><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">The Association of American Medical Colleges debuted a new </SPAN><A href="http://aamc.sparklist.com/t/192714/1445406/18822/17/"><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">Curriculum Inventory &amp; Reports (CIR) Web site</SPAN></A><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">. The CIR site contains graphical interpretations of both aggregate and historical curriculum-related data, including more than 40 new and updated curriculum reports based on data from the 2012 </SPAN><A href="http://aamc.sparklist.com/t/192714/1445406/18823/18/"><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">LCME Annual Questionnaire Part II</SPAN></A><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">. </SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">The reports reflect data from all U.S. medical schools and include interactive charts with trends up to 10 years.
