Become a CDC Data Detective

Get applied public health informatics training and use your computer science and information technlogy skills to investigate and solve public health problems. The CDC Public Health Informatics Fellowship Program (PHIFP) application period is open now through November 4, 2018. Make plans to join a one-hour, informative webinar session to learn more about PHIFP.

A PHIFP Fellow will get to do the following:

  • Work with teams in research and development of public health information systems
  • Provide informatics assistance to partners
  • Plan and evaluate complex information systems, such as disease surveillance systems
