Recomendations for Undergraduate Public Health Education

ABOUT TEACHPUBLICHEALTH.ORG

www.TeachPublicHealth.org is the online home for undergraduate public health education. This website is devoted to providing resources and curricular materials to teach introductory college level courses in public health.

The National Academy of Sciences Institute of Medicine and the Consensus Conference on Undergraduate Public Health Education recommend that all colleges and universities should offer introductory undergraduate public health education courses. To view the recommendations from the Consensus Conference click here. TeachPublicHealth.org and PERC—Prevention Education Resource Center have responded to these recommendations by providing three concise curriculum frameworks for public health courses that are designed to fulfill general education requirements.  These frameworks may also be used as required curricula for minors in public health or global health.
