CALL FOR STUDENT POSTER ABSTRACTS | Submission Deadline: CLOSED

 

The Association for Prevention Teaching and Research (APTR) is calling for submission of abstracts for student poster presentations for the APTR annual meeting, TEACHING PREVENTION 2010 - Prevention and Health: Seizing the Moment. TEACHING PREVENTION 2010will be held March 25-27, 2010 at the Liaison Hotel in the Capitol Hill area of Washington, DC.  This is an opportunity for students to showcase evaluations, research, programs, and experiences through a poster presentation.

 

ELIGIBILITY

• Graduate students from academic public health programs (represented by the APTR Council of Graduate Programs in Public Health) are encouraged to participate.
• Graduate health professions students with a current student membership in APTR are also eligible.
• Paul Ambrose Scholars Program student alumni are encouraged to participate.
• Eligible students should have graduated no earlier than September 2009.

GENERAL INFORMATION

• Poster presenters will be required to pay the registration costs and expenses involved in attending the meeting.
• All presenters are required to prepare their own handout materials for participants.
• Each presenter is required to disclose any financial arrangements or affiliations with any organizations that may have a direct interest in the subject matter of the presentation.
• Presenters may not use their conference presentation to market any products or services.
• Accepted oral and poster presentation abstracts will be printed in the final program and posted on the website of the Association for Prevention Teaching and Research.
