The Awards Committee is responsible for the number and types of awards to be given by APTR as well as for the establishment of criteria for granting such awards. The committee conducts searches and names recipients of awards on an annual basis.

 Registered Members

This important committee oversees a partnership between APTR, CDC, and ODPHP. APTR is currently in year 2 of 5 year cooperative agreements that we have had with both agencies since the 1980s. The Committee provides guidance for the Cooperative Agreements, develops long and short-term plans, and ensures that Cooperative Agreement goals and objectives are integral to the concerns and activities of APTR members. Members are encouraged to self-nominate and committee appointment

The APTR Member Resources Committee will provide leadership in expanding the membership and member benefits through activities such as recruitment of diverse faculty, assessment of faculty and program needs, and member communications.

Policy Committee
The Policy Committee is charged with outlining APTR policy priorities that help promote academic prevention and public health. The committee will also determine realistic policy goals and priorities. Any APTR individual or institutional members may serve on this committee.
