The 2014 Application Cycle is Now Closed
Review the 2014 Application Packet before applying for the Paul Ambrose Scholars Program. Have all of your application materials ready prior to starting the application form. It is advised that applicants create a form log in account at the start of the application. Creating a form log in account will enable the applicant to partially complete the form and return to it later to complete and submit. Without an account the applicant will have to complete and submit the form in one session. Only complete submitted applications will be reviewed.
Scholars are selected through a through a competitive application process. Applicants must be acurrent student in one of the following areas of graduate study at an accredited institution within the United States:
- Allopathic Medicine: Entering Years 2-4 in Fall 2014
- Dentistry: Entering Years 2-4 in Fall 2014
- Graduate Nursing
- Graduate Physician Assistant
- Osteopathic Medicine: Entering years 2-4 in Fall 2014
- Pharmacy: Entering year 3 or 4 of professional pharmacy program in Fall 2014
- Physical Therapy (D.P.T.)
- Public Health (APTR Member Programs Only*)
*Review the APTR Council of Graduate Programs in Public Health database to determine if your public health program qualifies for eligibility
Applicants graduating in 2014 are not eligible for the program. Only candidates who can commit to attending each symposium day in full (June 20-22, 2014 in Washington, DC) should apply. The deadline for receipt of all applications is March 7, 2014 at midnight EST.

Each application will be objectively reviewed by a committee comprised of faculty, health professionals, and past Paul Ambrose Scholars. The review is based on the applicant's statement of interest, credentials and experience, project proposal, and recommendation letter. Applicants will receive notification about participant selections by mid-April.
